Tourist attraction near Dragon Snow Mountain. They actualy built fake calcium terraces, using (what else) concrete......

And then the cobblestones started.... This was our first experience with them.... To think that this is considered an improvement over gravel. We rattle on

Re-supply stop. We plan to camp tonight

The cobblestones snake up the hill. We get a few kilometers reprieve near the summit, then cobblestones again all the way down to the Mekong.

Reached the summit and asphalt.

Halfway down the mountain we decide to camp for the night. It took us as long going down on the cobblestones as it took going up

Next morning, the sun is just hitting the highest peaks around us. Packing up and ready to go down to the Yangtze
