Entering 'new' Dali, from the mountains into the big city. Fortunately 'old' Dali is about 20 km further and full of character

Chineese temples on the way to 'old' Dali. We are getting exited, the snow on the mountain in the background is the first we've seen this trip!

The box with spare parts, extra camping gear and goodies that we had mailed to Bikechina in Chengdu has been successfuly forwarded to John Yang, a bikechina guide in Dali

Dinner with John Yang. Ordering is so much easier when you speak the language!
